This November, our current Board of Selectmen team is up for reelection, but with a switch! Jon Zagrodzky is running to take on the role of First Selectman, while Monica McNally will remain on the Board as a Member along with Marcy Minnick. This team is enthusiastic about continuing to serve and looks forward to the Fall campaign!
We are running again together because we care immensely about this town, and because we want to continue the tradition of thoughtful, responsible leadership in Darien. We want to preserve your voice, your quality of life, and your investment in this great community.
While our municipal slate of candidates for all elected positions is running unopposed this year, it is important to connect with voters and ensure that all voices are heard. This is why we are running a full campaign and will be speaking with as many of you as possible – by phone, door-to-door, in small groups, on train platforms, and of course at the town transfer/dump! We need your support, but we also need to build the enthusiasm for voting and political participation that will be essential in 2024, a critical election year.
Please join us on Saturday, September 23rd from 4:30 to 7:30 pm for a Candidate Meet & Greet at RIKO’S PIZZA in the back room! Come on out and say hello, mingle with friends and enjoy some refreshments and food. We promise good company and conversation. There’s also live music on Saturday evening. Bring friends!
